Identifying Common/ Replicable/ Modular Elements across the Proposed Rural Housing Design Solutions

• Conduct a detailed compilation, summary and assessment of materials and technologies proposed through the housing typologies developed by UNDP for PMAY in different contexts across the country
• Identify and develop a consolidated summary of dimensions, quantity and tentative unit costs that could be applied across similar typologies from the designs developed through the UNDP studies 

Transient, affordable and sustainable construction systems

The study includes research on existing approaches, strategies and processes to design respective systems and habitation along with relevant material and technological study. Based on these, innovative design strategies are to be developed that provides a transient, affordable and sustainable construction system.
